Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of School Task Agent, a service operated by Learn AI Agent LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. By creating an account you agree to them.

What the service does

School Task Agent reads school emails you forward to us, extracts deadlines and requests, and presents them to you as a task list. Depending on your settings, tasks are either added automatically or held for you to approve first.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and be the parent or guardian of the children whose school communications you forward. Accounts are for one household. Do not forward mail you are not entitled to receive.

Early access

We are not open to everyone yet. Requesting access does not create an account: we review each request and turn accounts on by hand, and we may decline or wait without giving a reason. Until we activate you, nothing is running on your behalf.

This is an assistant, not a guarantee

Tasks are extracted by an AI model. It will sometimes get a date wrong, miss a deadline entirely, or invent detail that was not in the original email. We work to reduce that, but we cannot eliminate it.

School Task Agent is a convenience, not a system of record. You remain responsible for your child's deadlines. Always check the original school email when something matters. Do not rely on this service alone for anything with a real consequence attached.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.

The mail you forward

School mail is written by other people, and it often mentions other people's children. So two things need saying.

First, by forwarding a message to your School Task Agent address you are telling us we may receive, store, decrypt, and read it in order to pull tasks out of it and show them to you. That permission is limited to running the service for you. It is not a licence to publish it, sell it, show it to anyone else, or train an AI model on it, and the Privacy Policy says so in more detail.

Second, you confirm that you are entitled to forward what you forward. Send us mail addressed to you about your own children. Do not forward another family's correspondence, and do not forward anything you were asked to keep in confidence.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Use the service for anything unlawful
• Try to access another account or another household's data
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service
• Resell or rebrand the service without our written agreement

What belongs to whom

Your mail and your tasks are yours. The software, the website, the name and the design are ours, and using the service does not give you any rights over them. If you send us a suggestion we may act on it without owing you anything for it, which is only meant to keep good ideas easy to send.

Cost

The service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything you already have starts costing money, and you will be able to decline and stop using the service.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can. If we close the service down or close your account for any other reason, we will give you notice first and your data is deleted on the same terms as if you had deleted it yourself.

Availability and changes to the service

We do not promise the service will always be available or uninterrupted. It depends on third party providers, including your email provider, and any of them can fail. We may also add, change, or remove features as the product develops. If we remove something you were relying on, we will tell you.

Liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Learn AI Agent LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including anything arising from a missed or misread deadline. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in Georgia.

General

The dull but necessary paragraph. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else; we may transfer them if the business is sold, on the terms described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. The sections on what belongs to whom, liability, and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new version.
